Everything Is Better With Sleep
Sleep Well, Be Well
Halo has been going to sleep pretty smoothly the past few weeks, and we’ve seen improvements in the naps, with Halo with sleeping 80 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes the past two days.

(Sleep Consultant for Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers in Los Angeles
My name is Kim Rogers, and I’m passionate about sleep. I love helping families get the restful sleep they need. Sleep is a necessity. Families thrive when they get enough sleep. And when one person in a family doesn’t sleep, the entire family feels it.
The best sleepers — babies and adults — have one thing in common. They have the ability to get comfortable in their bodies and beds. They find body-comfort in bed. They move around in their beds and put themselves to sleep. All babies can learn this, even newborn babies. (To be clear, we don’t sleep train newborn babies. But they can learn healthy sleep habits while being near their parents, and even while being in a parent’s arms. In fact, they do this in the womb.
Everyone wakes up several times a night. If we’re great sleepers, we don’t even know it. We move around and make ourselves comfortable in bed. We roll into the next sleep cycle without knowing it or waking anyone. From a very young age, babies are little movers and shakers. When we give our babies freedom of movement for sleep, sleep comes. It’s the opposite of putting a baby down asleep or “drowsy but awake.” It may sound daunting, but we can be there to comfort and soothe them.
No “Cry-It-Out”
My methods don’t involve leaving your child to “cry it out.” One of my goals is to help your child go to sleep in the fastest amount of time with the least amount of stress. You’ll see the signs of success that your child is working on going to sleep. Some of these signs are: moving their heads side-to-side or whacking their legs on the mattress. You’ll learn what to watch for, listen for, and when to comfort and touch.
Many parents think sleep training means that their child will cry for hours. Many parents have experienced this before and are afraid it will happen again. Even though some crying is inevitable, I work with families to reduce crying. You aren’t asked to leave your child to cry it out. We focus on building sleep pressure and sleep readiness so children can fall asleep faster at night and for naps. And they have the sleep pressure they need to lengthen nights and naps.
Every child is different. As your sleep consultant, I provide you with an individualized plan. It’s best suited for your child’s needs and for your family’s schedule and goals.

How I Can Help Your Baby Sleep
No two families are the same. I customize each plan for each individual family. First, you’ll fill out an online questionnaire so I can get a better idea of your child’s sleep. When I get it back, I’ll start writing your sleep plan. Then, we’ll meet to go over it and answer any questions.
You pick your start night, and from that night on, I support you for a month. You can text and email me as much as you need to and I’ll get back to you! You can ask questions via your interactive sleep log, and I’ll answer you! You also have four phone calls that you can book anytime within the month.
Ongoing Sleep Support
It won’t take a month for you to reach your goals. Most families see nighttime success in a few nights. They see nap success in a week or two. But as it is with all mind/body habit changes, consistency is key! I’m with you for a month to keep you consistent and accountable. When your baby grows and changes throughout the month, I’m there to keep you on track. You’ll get my Sleeping Well Toolkit. It’s my packet of handouts on things like travel, sickness, teething, nap transitions and more. I set you up for long-term success, and make sure you know how to navigate any challenge the future may bring. If you want support for longer than a month, I’ll be there for you.

I know how hard it is when you have a child who’s not sleeping. I know how hard it is when you’re not sleeping. When it was happening to me, it wasn’t simply unhealthy, it was dangerous. It was dangerous for me to drive, go to work, and make decisions. It’s no way to live. Thank goodness, there is a better way. It doesn’t have to be so hard and you don’t have to compromise secure attachment with your child. Contact me today to see which sleep package would be best for you and your child.
